Mission Statement
The mission of the congregation, a community of believers who have been called, gathered and enlightened by the Holy Spirit, is to share regularly the Gospel of Jesus Christ with one another through Word and Sacrament, and to recruit, equip, and support members in programs of sharing that Gospel with the community and world through both Word and Deed.
Vision Statement
Salem will be a vibrant Lutheran community that, through the grace of Jesus Christ, is connected within by love and reaching out in hope. Dynamic and meaningful worship and prayer will be the vital core fostering our sense of belonging. Supportive relationships will meet the personal needs of individuals and families at all stages of life. Competent lay and pastoral leadership will nurture an atmosphere of openness, warmth, and caring, enabling members’ active involvement in ministry, mission, and education.
