Parish Nurse

Lori Reimer serves as Salem's Parish Nurse. The Parish Nurse coordinates three blood drives a year at Salem with the American Red Cross. Lori also participates in health fairs for the Sunday School youth, the Salem Seniors, and the Salem Preschool. Monthly Blood pressure screens are also available.

Blood Drive
Salem Lutheran Church hosts a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross three times throughout the year. Please contact Parish Nurse, Lori Reimer at 688-9212 for more information. Sign up for the Blood Drive at Salem on Monday, May 19, directly through the Red Cross at www.redcross.org.

Blood Pressure Screening
Blood pressure screens are available during the Sunday morning Education Hour on the first Sunday of each month in Lori's office on the 3rd floor.

Medical Equipment & Information
Medical equipment, such as walkers, crutches, shower benches, and more, are available for loan through the Parish Nurse. Contact Lori if you need this type of equipment before purchasing them elsewhere. Also available are books and brochures on many health issues, including caregiving, grief, most medical conditions, and nutrition.
