Food Pantry Delivery
Salem’s Outreach Ministry has begun a new ministry in partnership with Bethel United Methodist Church, which is located across the street from the Crittenton Center downtown. We are helping with their food program that supplies a weekly hot meal and food items for the needy. Items collected in Salem's Giving Market in the Social Hall are being donated to Bethel to help stock their food pantry.
Suggested items for donation include:
Canned Foods -- corn, peas, sweet potatoes, yams, green beans, spinach, mustard greens, collard greens, baked beans, spaghetti, carrots, salmon, other meat items, cranberry sauce and all kinds of fruit.
Boxed and Dried Foods -- breakfast cereals, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, cake mix and frosting, pancake mix, dry noodles, Raimen Noodles, instant potatoes, rice spaghetti, black eyed peas, and all kinds of beans.
