WONDERFUL WALLY BENEFIT ACTIVITIES WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24-APRIL 28
Breaking Bread Dinner at 6pm on Wednesday, April 24 in the Salem Social Hall
The dine-in menu will include: Pulled pork sandwiches, corn salad, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and a yummy dessert. Award winning pork barbeque prepared by Dave Swanson and his family and friends. A free-will offering will be collected for Wally and his family at this meal.
Carry-out BBQ Pork Sandwiches and Boxed Meals
Take home pork barbeque sandwiches and boxed meals are available to the community on Wednesday, April 24, from 5pm – 6:30pm (while supplies last).
Pre-orders are no longer accepted, but there are plenty of boxed dinners available! The suggested minimum donation is $6.00 for take-home sandwiches and $8 for boxed dinners (sandwich, chips, soda and a dessert item.)
You may pick up your order in the Salem drive-thru between 5pm-6:30pm.
Wonderful Wally Bidding Auction, April 24-April 28
Several gift baskets will also be displayed at the Salem Welcome Center for a bidding auction. The auction will begin at the Breaking Bread meal on Wendesday, April 24 at 6pm and end on Sunday morning, April 28 at noon.
Special giving envelopes will be available on Sunday morning, April 28, for those who miss the Wednesday evening activities but wish to donate. All checks may be made payable to Salem Lutheran Church – please add “Wonderful Wally” in the memo line.
100% of the donations from the above events will go to Wally and his family as a result of a generous Thrivent Action Team grant and a grant from the Salem Lutheran Church Outreach Ministry.
